origin
SISO (noun)
Pronunciation: see-soh
Definition:
Origin: Derived from Sisophon, a small village in Cambodia where my mother first learned to sew.
Usage: Refers to creativity rooted in heritage and embodies the art of storytelling.
From a young age, I was captivated by the gentle hum of my mother’s sewing machine.
She shared everything she knew with me, and I grew up believing sewing was magic.
As I pursued my passion, I became a professional seamstress, working in international design studios and ateliers. Eventually, I managed a bridal workroom, leading fittings and bringing countless wedding gowns to life. Yet, despite living my childhood dream, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.
I stepped away from sewing, uncertain of what would come next.
And that’s when I met him.
It was through this newfound understanding of love that SISO was born.
At its core, SISO isn’t just about gowns; it’s about telling love stories through the language of craftsmanship.
Every gown is a tribute to the hands that create, souls that remember, and the hearts that soften deeply.
